Company Description:

Cape Cod Community College (4Cs) stands as a premier institution for higher education and workforce training in Massachusetts. As the only comprehensive college on Cape Cod, 4Cs offers Associate of Arts, Associate of Science, and Associate of Applied Science degrees, along with a wide array of professional certificates.

With a laser focus on pairing student wants with workforce and community needs, 4Cs keeps their finger on the pulse of the region, developing creative and effective programming. This includes their Aviation Maintenance Technology (AMT) program, the only one of its kind in Massachusetts, stretching across multiple hangars at Plymouth Municipal Airport where students learn on real aircraft and industry-grade technology. The College also features a Funeral Service program, housed on the campus of nearby Bridgewater State University, and a one-of-a-kind "Blue Economy" degree, designed to prepare students to meet the needs of Cape Cod's rapidly evolving ocean-based workforce needs.

At the forefront of 4Cs mission is access and equity for its students. 4Cs is a nationally recognized leader in this work, expanding the bounds of "flexible learning" by offering multiple class modalities across 14 and 7-weeks that start throughout the academic year. Most notable in this work is the College's specialty "HyFlex" classes that leverage DTEN technology in nearly every classroom on its West Barnstable campus. This innovative model, supported by DTEN technology, enhances learning for students juggling transportation challenges or busy schedules.

All this work is led by a community of world-class educators and support staff dedicated to one singular vision: student success. As a community college, those who come through the doors of 4Cs have diverse and unique backgrounds. In their classes, you will find dual enrolled high school students still in their teenage years sitting alongside adult learners of all ages either starting their educational journeys for the first time or finishing what they started. These students are united by their shared goal of personal and professional growth through the life-changing power of higher education.

That goal is what drives the faculty, staff, and leadership of 4Cs. Whether a student is attending with the intent of earning a degree and moving straight into a career, or to transfer credits on to a 4-year institution, the College is designed to support their pathway and help them write the next chapter in their life story.

As higher education evolves, Cape Cod Community College remains committed to adapting alongside the needs of the region. With a clear vision for student success, 4Cs continues to build powerful futures.

Aviation Maintenance Technology (AMT) is a flagship program at Cape Cod Community College and the only one of its kind in southeastern New England. Training and educating more than 150 students per year and growing, the 4Cs AMT program allows students to learn the science and engineering of aviation by getting hands-on experience working on a fleet of 11 real, operational aircraft, including twin jets, Cessna 402s, four single-engine piston airplanes and a Robinson helicopter. With an expansion underway to more than 50,000 square feet of learning space, including six hangars and six classrooms equipped with industry-leading technology, the program brings AMT to life for students across New England.

Powered by more than 20 professional faculty members with experience in the aviation field, the AMT program at 4Cs offers a world-class, accessible education that is second to none.
