Position Summary
Doane University is seeking an innovative and dynamic leader to serve as the Director of Campus Engagement on our Crete Campus. This pivotal role is responsible for developing and overseeing a comprehensive range of co-curricular programs and services that enhance student involvement and leadership development for both residential (Crete campus) and non-residential (Lincoln campus) students. The Director will drive the success of student organizations, foster leadership growth, and promote a vibrant co-curricular experience that aligns with the university's mission and the goals of the Division of Student Affairs. The successful candidate will bring a strategic vision and the ability to foster collaborative relationships with campus and community partners.

FLSA: Salaried (Exempt)
Salary
The pay is determined by experience but ranges from $53,000 - $58,000
Minimum Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree, in student affairs, education, counseling, or a closely related field, and at least 3 years of professional experience in:
- Higher education or an educational setting, focusing on areas such as Student Affairs, campus engagement, event management, or advising.
- A supervisory role
- Advising student organizations, including developing training programs and policies to support their success.
Experience must demonstrate:
- Financial management skills with the ability to develop and manage budgets.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including public speaking, listening, and writing comprehensive reports.
- Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with a diverse population of students, faculty, staff, and alumni.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency with technology, including community engagement platforms and social media marketing strategies relevant to student engagement.
- A self-starter mindset and a change-oriented approach.
- Ability to work effectively with high-energy college students.

Working Conditions
Some evening and weekend work is required, particularly during major campus events (Orientation, Welcome Weekend, Homecoming).
