Teaching Professor – Strategy, Ethics, Economics, and Public Policy
The McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University invites applications for a Teaching Professor position in its Strategy, Economics, Ethics, and Public Policy Area. The position carries a 15-credit-hour teaching load and comes with full benefits. The position provides a multi-year contract with the possibility of renewals based on ongoing curricular and programmatic needs and positive performance evaluation. We especially encourage applicants with teaching experience in competitive and corporate strategy, multinational / global strategy, managerial economics, and business and public policy, and who have either demonstrated or are capable of teaching excellence. The expected starting date of the appointment is August 2025.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Successful applicants will have a Ph.D. and university teaching experience, with excellent teaching evaluations, preferably in a highly selective business school. Evidence of excellent teaching at the MBA level is desired but not required. Experience in course and/or curriculum development and innovation, as well as experience teaching at the undergraduate and executive levels, is also desirable.

The projected salary or hourly pay range for this position is $139,000 - $162,000, which represents the full range of anticipated compensation for this position. Compensation is determined by a number of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s individual qualifications, experience, education, skills, and certifications, as well as the University’s business needs and external factors.
