The Research Laboratory Manager I (Research Speech Language Pathologist) leads a team of other student (both graduate and undergrad) research assistants in the Motor Speech Research Laboratory within the Department of Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences. Research in this lab is focused primarily on bringing a precision medicine approach to the development of participation-focused interventions for individuals with motor speech disorders, particularly in adolescent populations. Duties & Responsibilities
Examples of duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* In coordination with the PI, develop study procedures, protocols, and trainings
* Develop and maintain systems for data organization
* Recruit research subject participants
* Schedule data collection sessions
* Assist with data collection and analysis
* Supervise Research and Graduate Assistants data collection efforts
* Assist PI with manuscript preparation
* Communicate with Principal Investigator and other team members regularly about the progress of the project relative to the specific aims
* Purchase study related materials as needed
Minimum Qualifications
- Due to the nature of the work, a Bachelor's degree in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences is required.
- Due to the specific aims of this project, fluency in Spanish is also required.
- Minimum of 3 years of related work experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience required.
Preferred Qualifications
- PhD graduate degree in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences is preferred.

Notice of Availability of the Annual Security and Fire Safety Report
In compliance with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act (Clery Act), each year the University of Arizona releases an Annual Security Report (ASR) for each of the University's campuses.
