We are currently seeking an Assistant Professor for our Computer Science Department located at our downtown NYC (Manhattan) campus.
Position Summary:
The Seidenberg School of Computer Science and Information Systems at Pace University on the New York City campus invites applications for a full-time tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor, with expertise in Operating Systems, Networks, and/or Databases. - The candidate must demonstrate evidence of outstanding teaching, scholarly accomplishment, service, and funding activity. The candidate is expected to lead high-quality instructional and scholarly research activities, play a major role in the development and assessment of academic programs and students’ advisement, and establish and maintain professional relationships. The successful candidate will have strong communication skills.
- Candidates must possess a Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related area. Doctoral candidates are welcome to apply if the degree is expected to be conferred by August 2025.
