Job Description
The Assistant/Associate Professor in the department of School Psychology and Educational Leadership will perform the essential duties of teaching, research, and service. In addition, these may include advising students in three educational leadership programs and two graduate certificate programs, recruiting and supporting professional relationships with regional school administrators, conducting research, and program leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include teaching, ensuring student progress in the programs, conducting own research, supporting student research, advising students, and providing service to the program, department, college, and university, and functioning as program lead if needed.
Minimum Qualifications
Assistant Professor:
Earned doctorate in Education Administration or Educational Leadership, or related fields - ABD applicants will be considered
Demonstrates potential to teach graduate courses in Educational Leadership
Demonstrates potential to effectively advise and direct graduate student research, practicum, and internship experiences
Demonstrates potential to develop a record of research and scholarship, including applying for grant/contracts
Demonstrates potential to establish a record of leadership
Demonstrates potential to work with diverse students/colleagues
Associate Professor:
Earned doctorate in Education Administration, Educational Leadership, or related fields
Established record of excellence in teaching graduate courses in Educational Administration or Educational Leadership
Established record of advising and directing graduate student research, practicum, and internship experiences
Established record of research and scholarship, including securing grant/contracts
Established record of leadership experiences
Experience in working with diverse students/colleagues
Preferred Qualifications
Experience as a PreK-12 district superintendent or district office administrator
Experience teaching in on-line and virtual environments
PreK-12 certification for administrators
Possess PreK-12 school administrator experience
Established record of scholarship
Additional Information

Salary will be between $60,000 - $72,000 per year, dependent upon rank and commensurate with education and experience. All offers of employment are conditional pending the successful completion of a background investigation, provided by HireRight.
