Assistant/Associate Professor in Psychology/Leadership (tenure-track)
The Department of Psychology at the Virginia Military Institute (VMI) invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant/Associate Professor position. The selected candidate will teach a core-curriculum course on leadership and other psychology courses. Area of specialty is open, but the successful candidate will have teaching or research experience, including areas relevant to leadership.
Appointment begins August 2025. A Ph.D. (or ABD) in Psychology is required. If the doctorate is not presently in hand, applicants should specifically address when the defense will be held, and the dissertation completed in their cover letter. Typical teaching load is 3:3. All classes will be taught in person at VMI.
