The successful applicant should be willing to travel locally to provide onsite coursework to graduate student cohorts as needed and should have strong abilities to work with school and district leaders to advocate for our programs. Finally, the successful applicant will contribute to scholarship in the field of literacy and/or multilanguage learners. The Citadel's M.Ed. in Literacy Education is one of only 5 programs in South Carolina recognized by the International Literacy Association for preparation of literacy teachers and coaches.
