BASIC PURPOSE: In support of the mission of the University, the Sr. Associate Director of Enrollment Systems and Slate Administrator will provide Technolutions Slate CRM systems, operational, and technical support to Admissions (Undergraduate and Graduate) and Financial Aid. The primary functions include overseeing all current and future systems used in Undergraduate and Graduate Admissions.
ACCOUNTABILITIES: The Sr. Associate Director of Enrollment Systems and Slate Administrator leads a team responsible for developing, customizing, managing, and maintaining the admissions CRM (Technolutions Slate). The Senior Associate Director is expected to use technology to streamline and improve processes for a superior student experience and will use their expertise to suggest changes to the software that support enrollment goals. The Sr. Associate Director of Enrollment Systems and Slate Administrator will be responsible for:

The primary functions include overseeing all current and future systems used in Undergraduate and Graduate Admissions.

The Sr. Associate Director of Enrollment Systems and Slate Administrator will be responsible for:
- Manage and maintain Admissions CRM (Slate) and all relevant integrations for the Undergraduate Office of Admissions.
- Responsible for a comprehensive knowledge of the SLATE CRM (structures, tables, forms, security, flow of data across processes/units, including importing prospect names and building audiences for communication planning, maintain user profiles, etc.). This includes training and providing technical support for all processes, analyzing and solving technical issues, responding to ad hoc information requests, and developing and maintaining written procedures for all processes.
- Build and implement standard CRM functions including but not limited to: Forms, Communication Flows, Events, Queries/Reports, Records and Portals.
- Support recruitment efforts by understanding the data maintained in Slate, Colleague, and third-party vendors and preserve the integrity of data.
- Collaborate with Marketing & Communications to schedule recurring communications and evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns through reports.
- Build and maintain student portals and forms to ensure a positive user experience throughout the application and enrollment cycle.
- Keep up-to-date on and recommend use of latest Slate features.
- Lead the annual application update process and cycle prep, ensuring optimal functioning of the admissions application for all stakeholders.
- Meet with admissions staff to determine and implement strategies to optimize the CRM to improve recruitment practices.
- Leads project management and planning. Develops reasonable timelines for completing new projects, evaluates; the effectiveness of the project to ensure outcomes were achieved.
- Creates effective partnerships and works collaboratively with other offices, including Institutional Research, IT, Academic Affairs, Student Success, Athletics, etc.;
- Works with outside vendors to customize their software to meet the needs of the department or to deliver critical data/processes;
- Provides appropriate and timely training to admissions staff on Slate as requested and needed, including the development and implementation of audit procedures for processes.
- Additional duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited University required
- Five to seven years of experience with a CRM and a Student Information System, preferably Technolutions Slate and Colleague
- Must be willing to contribute actively to the mission of the University.
- Effective as a team player as well as complete quality work independently
- Ability to communicate well in written and verbal form with staff he/she works with and supports
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask and advance multiple, high-priority projects simultaneously
- Experience in higher education supporting both Undergraduate and Graduate Admissions preferred.
