Job Summary

Responsible for managing the activities of the Teaching Negotiation Resource Center (TNRC) and the Pedagogy@PON Initiative (P@PON). The TNRC is the center for the development and dissemination of teaching materials and publications at the Program on Negotiation (PON), offering a wide range of materials, including role-play simulations, videos, books, periodicals, and case studies to customers around the world. Pedagogy@PON serves as PON's intellectual focal point for negotiation education, sharing best practices and materials to dispute resolution educators.

Position Description

As Teaching Negotiation Resource Center Coordinator you will:

  • Monitor annual TNRC budget and income, helps set priorities, and prepares and maintains data for financial reports and administrative records
  • Assist with website management, email outreach, development of marketing materials, and management of partnerships and help implement a strategy to drive traffic to the PON website and develop a growing database of customers
  • Host pedagogy-focused events such as dinner seminars and conferences for the broader negotiation pedagogy community
  • Assist with creating new negotiation simulations, cases, and other teaching materials for distribution through the TNRC and use in PON courses. Edit and format teaching materials in preparation for public distribution
  • Oversee the work of outside vendors and contractors for the TNRC
  • Compose, proofread, edit, and prepare agreements, correspondence, licenses, and other materials
  • Other duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications

5 or more years of experience in office administration or related field (business environment and/or customer service). Education beyond high school may count toward experience.

Additional Qualifications and Skills

We are looking for people who also have:

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and writing skills
  • Ability to manage workload and prioritize tasks in a busy and challenging environment, and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong project management skills and careful attention to detail
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience with Google Analytics, and SEO
  • Experience with video and audio editing
  • An understanding of, and appreciation for, the mission of PON
  • Taken a negotiation course and has a basic understanding of the academic concepts

Additional Information

This is a one year term appointment with potential for renewal subject to funding and departmental need.
