Job Summary

Responsible for assisting in decision support and reporting, data initiatives, and problem resolution using data. Compiles, interprets, and manages administrative data and unit level data associated with year over year enrollments, revenue trending, industry statistics, student satisfaction and retention, and net promoter scores. Monitors enrollment and marketing dashboards, meets with digital media vendors, and provides regular detailed reports and analysis of marketing campaigns and ROI. Meets with leadership to determine strategy, set annual projections and report on industry trends and competitive market.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Supports leadership and program departments by providing accurate data analytics to support decision making and functional activities including generating recurring or ad hoc reports
2. Proposes and develops potential solution in cases of large or systemic problems which includes steps for problem resolution, technical, and functional considerations
3. Compiles and generates reports from multiple platforms and databases to generate clear, understandable, and useful data reports
4. Produces enrollment and marketing data reports tracking the student journey from first touch to enrollment for all professional program verticals
5. Identifies and provides recommendations on data quality and student tracking initiatives
6. Monitors multiple online dashboards to ensure current and relevant information for all stakeholders
7. Compiles reports on marketing KPIs to include leads, conversion rates, website traffic and behaviors, and social media engagement
8. Develops and derives data-driven insights regarding targeted audience segmentation in support of strategic marketing and communication initiatives
9. Plans, organizes, and communicates collaboratively and effectively to problem-solve and meets project deadlines
10. Monitors program quality by conducting and reviewing student and instructor evaluations
11. Creates, monitors, and reports results of multiple voice-of-customer surveys
12. Conducts competitive research and analyzes benchmarking data
13. Assists in facilitating all strategic initiatives critical to business success
14. Works with the executive director on various other reports
15. Responds to data requests from other university departments
16. Maintains uniform documentation of all activities regarding reporting and other projects for future review as needed
17. Assumes the administrator role for all data collection platforms and consults regularly with vendors on updates and improvements required to expand and improve data collection
18. Collaborate with a variety of stakeholders across campus, including working closely with the Office of University Data Strategy to maintain alignment with overall university data strategy

Required Qualifications

Educational Requirements
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher education

Required Experience
Three (3) years of related experience to include data and/or analytical experience

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred Educational Qualifications
An advanced degree from an accredited institution of higher education in a related field

Preferred Experience
Previous experience in an academic setting

Proposed Salary

The budgeted salary range is $ 58,000.00 to $72,600.  Offers are based on relevant experience.

KNOWLEDGE
Education and/or work experience in statistics with experience working with and maintaining data sets and reporting processes

SKILLS
Excellent interpersonal, initiative, teamwork, problem solving, independent judgment, organization, communication (verbal and written), listening, time management, project management, highly organized and presentation skills
Strong strategic and analytical thinking skills with an ability to solve problems, makes effective decisions and negotiation skills
Proficient with computer applications and programs associated with the position (i.e., Microsoft Office suite, Advanced knowledge of Excel, Tableau and other analytical and/or data software)
Strong attention to detail and follow up skills
Strong customer service skills and phone and e-mail etiquette
