Position Details:

POSITION: Instructor - Public Health. This is a 10-month position.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Teach undergraduate and graduate classes in multiple areas and engage in department, college, university and professional service. Assist with scheduling of courses. Assist in developing program recruitment plans. Assist with program curriculum development. Supervise graduate assistants.

THE DEPARTMENT: The Department of Applied Medicine and Rehabilitation offers several distinctive programs: Physical Therapy (Doctorate), Physician Assistant Studies (Master's), Occupational Therapy (Master's), Athletic Training (Doctorate & Master's), Applied Medicine (Bachelor's), Public Health (Bachelor's & Master's), Nutrition and Wellness (Bachelor's), Nutrition (Minor), Public Health (Minor), and Massage Therapy (Minor).

QUALIFICATIONS: Qualifications for Instructor: A minimum degree of Master's is required. Master's in Public Health or related field preferred.

SALARY: Competitive, commensurate with experience.

LOCATION: Terre Haute, a metropolitan community of approximately 60,000 people serving as a major retailing area for west central Indiana and east central Illinois, has two private colleges in addition to the University, is 70 miles from Indianapolis and 180 miles from Chicago, Cincinnati, Louisville and St. Louis.
