Position Description
Responsible for the day-to-day supervision of retail outlets. Manages staff, stock and resources. Promotes customer service and plans, organizes and develops goals and procedures. Represents the outlet to administrators, outside agencies and others on relevant matters. Supervises subordinate staff.

Major/Essential Functions

  • Follow TTUS and TTUHSC Operating, IT and Safety Policies, completing all training as required.
  • Oversee all operations of the TTUHSC Vitals Spirit Shop to include staffing, maintain and manage inventory, payment processing, purchasing and displays.
  • Oversee all operations of the TTUHSC online Vitals Spirit Shop to include keeping inventory up
    to date, online sales and shipping.
  • Develop growth and promotion plan for the Vitals Spirit Shop to increase traffic and sales.
  • Plan and execute Vitals Spirit Shop events and monthly promotional events.
  • Plan, prepare and travel to set up Pop Up Vitals Spirit Shop at TTUHSC campuses and graduations. Secure inventory, venues and organize team for travel.
  • Maintain and monitor all social media sites.
  • Maintain & service Coca Cola drink station, snack station and coffee station. Maintain perishable
  • Provide weekly/monthly analytics regarding Vitals Spirit Shop production.
  • Help with press conferences and community events involving the Office of External Relations.
  • Create, order and distribute inventory and promotional items.
  • Collaborate with the Visitor Center Director to develop a strategic plan to expand markets and
    promote Vitals to all TTUHSC campuses.
  • Develop on-trend apparel keeping abreast of market trends and working closely with the
    graphic designer and the rest of the creative team.
  • Establish and maintain rapport with both apparel and promotional item vendors.
  • Collaborate with the Visitor Center Director in setting and monitoring the store budget and setting
    sales goals.
Occasional Duties
Complete other duties and projects as assigned.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree with two years supervisory experience; OR a combination of education and/or supervisory experience to equal six years.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Event and retail experience.
  • Experience with budgets and establishing/maintaining goals.

Pay Statement
Compensation is commensurate upon the qualifications of the individual selected and budgetary guidelines of the hiring department, as well as the institutional pay plan. For additional information, please reference the institutional pay plan website.

Pay Basis: Hourly

Salary commensurate with related education, experience and/ or skills.

Salary commensurate with related education, experience and/ or skills.
