Job Description:

The Department of Professional Education Programs of The Esteves School of Education at Russell Sage College invites applications for a full-time, professor of practice (non-tenure track) faculty position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor of Education in Sport Science, effective for Academic Year 2024/2025.

The estimated base academic year salary for this position is $55,000, commensurate with experience.

Requirements:

The successful candidate will have an earned terminal degree (PhD, PsyD) in sport psychology or a related area (ABD may be considered based on degree completion timeline) and experience in coaching, mental performance, and sport. In addition, the successful candidate will advise program majors, provide service to the department and institution, and maintain scholarship.

Preferred: 

In addition to the minimum requirements, the preferred candidate will have successful experience teaching in a variety of modalities, including in online asynchronous courses, professional experience and network that applies directly to the degree program (MS in Sport Science: Coaching and Mental Performance), and experience teaching in higher education.
