Position Description
Performs supervisory work in the care and maintenance of an assigned area. Supervises and coordinates workers in areas such as agriculture, athletics, grounds, housing and residence halls, physical plant, maintenance, etc.

HSC - Dallas

Department: Bldg Maint and Op Dal

Major/Essential Functions
Performs participatory work in the construction, erection, installation, and repair of structures and fixtures. Maintains building heating, air conditioning, and ventilating equipment at peak performance, along with related utilities and controls. Duties also include actual hands-on work in this area. Oversees contractors and vendors, ensuring work is completed per HSC standards. The end result is to maintain a clean, comfortable environment for the patients and occupants of the HSC.

Occasional Duties
Oversight of projects and renovations to the facility.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field of study and three years experience related to assigned area; OR a combination of education and/or related experience to equal seven years.

Preferred Qualifications
Extensive building maintenance knowledge in all fields. Related training and certifications are not required but preferred.

Pay Statement
Compensation is commensurate upon the qualifications of the individual selected and budgetary guidelines of the hiring department, as well as the institutional pay plan. For additional information, please reference the institutional pay plan website.
