Job Description:

BASIC PURPOSE: In support of the mission of the University, the Enrollment Operations Assistant will provide excellent customer service to students and families for the offices of Undergraduate Admissions, Graduate Admissions and Financial Aid via in-person, phone, email and text inquiries. The Operations Assistant will also be responsible for processing invoices, manage office supplies, assist with event preparation and performing tasks in our Admissions CRM.

ACCOUNTABILITIES: The Operations Assistant is expected to provide excellent customer service to students and families for the offices of Undergraduate Admissions, Graduate Admissions and Financial Aid via in-person, phone, email and text inquiries.   The Enrollment Operations Assistant will be responsible for:

  • Provide accurate and friendly service to students and families via phone, email and texting; responding to, or forwarding, calls and emails continually throughout the day.
  • Act as an expert representing undergraduate admissions, graduate admissions and financial aid when responding to student and family inquiries.
  • Manage multiple email inboxes and texting lines.
  • Perform general office functions such as ordering supplies, maintaining inventory and submitting maintenance and IT work orders as needed.
  • Review all invoices for accuracy and initiate purchase requisitions.
  • Assist in coordinating logistics and preparation for on-campus admissions events.
  • Help prepare and coordinate mailings.
  • Assist with visit and event registration and scheduling.
  • Help to oversee work study students.
  • Assist in updating information and running daily processes in the admissions CRM.
  • Assist with the duplicate resolution process and maintaining data quality in the admissions CRM.
  • Build and execute on-boarding protocols and training schedules for new staff.
  • Provide cross-functional support for campus events such as open house, accepted student day, student move-in day, etc.
  • Additional duties as assigned.


  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited University required.
  • Experience in a customer service setting or fast paced office environment.
  • Must have a friendly, service-oriented attitude and be comfortable interacting with a wide range of people.
  • Must be willing to contribute actively to the mission of the University. Effective as a team player as well as complete quality work independently.
  • Demonstrated exceptional organization skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate well in written and verbal form with staff he/she works with and supports.
  • Ability to multitask and advance multiple, high-priority projects simultaneously.
  • Experience in higher education supporting both Undergraduate and Graduate Admissions preferred.
