Rank of Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor and applicable salary are dependent upon candidate's qualifications and experience.

Major/Essential Functions
  • Provide Quality Healthcare Services to patients assigned to the Burn Division in an outpatient and inpatient setting.
  • Provide medical record documentation in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Provide necessary billing information as requested according to department and institutional guidelines.
  • Oversee nursing staff, medical students, and resident physicians during patient interactions.
  • Participate in active surgical research with medical students and resident physicians.
  • Prepare and deliver lectures to medical students and resident physicians.
  • Participate in all department conferences/meetings.
  • Adhere to institutional and departmental safety policies and procedures.
Occasional Duties



Required Qualifications
  • MD, DO or MBBS.
  • Completion of an integrated Residency in Plastics/Surgery or a Residency in Plastic Surgery; OR
  • Completion, or in process of completing a Burn Fellowship
  • Ability to obtain a TX License.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Active TX Medical License.

Pay Statement
