Position Description
Contributes to the university's mission through research and service by performing pharmaceutical science research job duties for the Department of Pharmacy Practice - Clinical Translation Research division at our Dallas, TX campus.

Major/Essential Functions
Perform pharmaceutical science research job duties in Dallas, TX.  Engage in research in the area of Pharmaceutical Sciences.  Coordinate good laboratory practices, regulatory policies, and safety protocols.  Establish and optimize research protocols and work with data validation.  Contribute to scholarly journal articles, oral presentations, and abstracts.  Develop new procedures and techniques to be utilized in the laboratory as well as experiments.

Required Qualifications
Academic degree as defined by the academic unit and as appropriate for the position held.  3 years of demonstrated experience as a researcher. Should have a record of activity which has contributed to the discipline or field of research.

Preferred Qualifications
Requires: Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences or closely related degree; two (2) years post-doctoral researcher or similar research-based role; and a demonstrated knowledge of Bioanalytic methods, chromatography & LC-MS/MS techniques, and pharmacokinetics.

Pay Statement
