Work Schedule: Variable shift/variable days
Salary: Targeted salary range: $43,920-$46,700
Travel: Less than 10%
Brief Statement of Duties
Brief Statement of Duties: Conduct and oversee the engineering, build and load in of all scenery for the Department of Theatre and Dance with student labor, temporary labor and volunteers.

Responsible for overseeing the budgets and maintenance in the Scene, Costume, and Sound/Lighting/Media Shops as well as overseeing the performance spaces.
Minimum Qualifications
Required Education: Bachelor's Degree
Discipline / Degree Area:  
Required Specialized Training/Certifications:  
Required Minimum Work Experience: Three years of technical theatre work experience.
Must possess a valid motor vehicle driver's license.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, or Attributes Required for Satisfactory Performance of the Position Duties: Proficient in shop management as well as computer drafting software.
Proficient in scenery construction.
Possess a strong work ethic.
Possess effective interpersonal and collaboration skills.
Ability to create build calendars and production budgets.
Additional Desirable Qualifications
Additional Desirable Qualifications: Welding ability (MIG, Stick) and proficient knowledge of scenic drafting.
Proficient in G-Suite, AutoCAD and Vectorworks.
Bachelors Degree in Technical Theatre, MFA preferred.
Ability to supervise students.
Ability to work with diverse populations.
Supervisory experience in a scene shop.
Ability to manage budgets.
