Part-Time IT Help Desk Technician - Multiple Opportunities
The position serves as an entry-level help desk technician for the College of Architecture, Arts, and
Design. Install, configure, update, and maintain macOS and Windows computers. Collaborate with the
team of AAD IT support specialists to answer service calls in 4Help. Provide polite and professional
customer service to users. Support software installation and peripherals including scanners and printers.
Respond to user needs via phone calls, tickets, and emails as well as in person. The help desk
technician reports to the college's Director of IT. This position will primarily be on-site.

- Experience with Windows and Mac operating systems
- Experience installing, operating, and troubleshooting computer hardware and software
- Demonstrated ability to interface with clients over the telephone, via email or in person to communicate
- Good interpersonal, customer support, verbal writing skills tailored to a level appropriate for the
- Experience with backup systems like OneDrive, Google Drive, Time Machine, etc.
- Knowledge of endpoint management frameworks including HCL BigFix, JAMF, or Microsoft Intune, etc.
- Experience with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow
- Experience working with computers in an Active Directory/Group Policy environment
- Experience in an IT support or help desk environment or related role
