NYTech's College of Osteopathic Medicine seeks an Alumni Relations Specialist located at the Long Island (Old Westbury, NY) campus.



Responsibilities:

  • Plan and manage large alumni events around the country including sourcing venues, managing budgets and staffing. Travel to some events is required. 
  • Manage a communication strategy including event pages, event profiles, and targeted outreach. 
  • Plan and coordinate on campus alumni speakers and panels and alumni/student events. 
  • Work with our alumni council and young alumni groups to set up meetings, manage meeting notes and agenda and draft communication. 
  • Sourcing and developing contacts for alumni newsletters. 
  • Work with the Director of Alumni Relations and the Development Office on strategic plan and office initiatives. 
  • Order giveaways and other product in line with the office budget. Maintain product and supply inventories.
  •  Perform other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree required.
  • Must have excellent communication skills and familiarity with MicroSoft Office Suite, including Excel
  • Experience with project management and event planning is required.

New York Tech considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate experience/expertise, education/training, key skills, geographic location, internal peer equity as well as market, organizational considerations and/or applicable collective bargaining agreement when extending an offer.
