Job Description

Working under the direction of the BUILDS team Supervisor, this position will perform tasks associated with the application of survey/CAD/GIS principles and practices with University projects. The position will perform routine field work to capture existing information regarding University properties, buildings, infrastructure features and attributes. This individual will complete assigned tasks with rare assistance regarding survey, CAD, GPS and GIS software, as well as other nonCAD applications, to keep multiple projects/tasks on schedule to ensure timely and efficient completion of assignments. This position will support multiple data gathering, analysis and information dissemination functions carried out by the team to assist the organization in making better operational and life cycle decisions. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the use of multiple data collection software platforms and the ability to stay up to date on the latest technologies that can advance the team.

Required Qualifications

Experience in the construction or engineering industry with survey, CAD Drafting, or GIS practices and principles. Skilled with computer applications, including the use of AutoCAD, and other software applications to document survey GIS work. Introductory level of proficiency with Autodesk Revit Software. Demonstrated skill in delivering exemplary customer service.

Bachelor's degree from a college or university.
