Brief Statement of Duties
This position involves teaching a variety of undergraduate and/or graduate courses related to our Data Science program. This is a campus based position.
Minimum Qualifications
Required Education: Doctorate or equivalent terminal degree
Discipline / Degree Area: Mathematics / Statistics / Data Science / Computer Science, earned or expected by August 21, 2024
Required Specialized Training/Certifications: NA
Required Minimum Work Experience: NA
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, or Attributes Required for Satisfactory Performance of the Position Duties:
Excellent oral and written communication skills and time management skills.
Ability to develop and deliver curriculum.
Commitment to undergraduate education and demonstration of excellence in teaching undergraduate students.
Additional Desirable Qualifications
Knowledge content in applied statistics; demonstrated ability to develop and/or deliver curriculum in this area. Demonstrated ability and desire to pursue active scholarship. Experience programming in R.
