Position Announcement
Performs a variety of functions to support students and administrative operations within the Booth Wellness Center. This position will assist the Support Specialist, Director and BWC staff in the daily management of the Booth Wellness Center, including use of Electronic Health Record system in scheduling appointments, managing electronic paperwork/filing, communication with students, faculty, staff and outside visitors. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, paired with a proactive and detail-oriented approach to work, will best serve the position
Responsibilities
POSITION DETAILS, COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS: Part-time hourly staff 20-25 hours per week. Mondays-Fridays 12:30 PM-5:00 PM (hours may vary). Hourly rate of $14.00-14.50/hr depending on experience. Responsibilities
- Provide a professional and welcoming environment for students, faculty, staff, and outside visitors to the BWC.
- Answer in-coming phone calls, and redirect them to the necessary party.
- Coordinate the appointments and consultation time of the clients.
- Manage Electronic Health Record system.
- Must be comfortable in a medical and mental health services environment.
- Receive and send postal and courier packages.
- Mailing letters, sending faxes, messages and documents.
- Recording complaints, problems, queries and providing suitable answers and assistance.
- Must possess pleasant and positive personality.
- Strong communication and listening skills.
- Must be comfortable in using computers and telephone.
- Must be trained in an Electronic Health Records System or be willing to learn how to use an Electronic Health Records system.
- Must possess customer service relation and coordination skills.
- Must be pro-active in approach.
- Associate's degree preferred
