Position Highlights
The University of Arizona School of Architecture invites applications for the following part-time Adjunct Lecturer teaching positions for the 2024 academic year (Spring and Summer 2024) at less than 50% time. Adjunct lecturers will teach any of the following courses in the Bachelor of Architecture, Master of Architecture, and/or Master of Science in Architecture programs.
- Foundation Studios
- Core Professional Design Studios
- Research Option Studios
- Advanced Technology (structures, construction, and environmental systems)
- Design Communications
- Architecture History and Theory
- Professional Practice Courses
Your teaching load may make you eligible for benefits if you work a .50 FTE or greater for 90 days or longer. As courses and loads are determined, we will notify employees should they gain benefits eligibility status.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Teaching and preparation for the specific course(s), as
required - Participation as a member of the Faculty of
Architecture by attending relevant meetings - Minor service responsibilities to the School
Minimum Qualifications
- Professional degree in architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch); OR
- B.S. with 15 years of experience in active architectural practice(s)
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree in architecture
- Professional licensure in architecture
