Job Summary

Responsible for managing ticket sales and overseeing daily box office functions. Serves as primary liaison between venue and ticketing company and primary revenue generator for event campaigns. Creates intentional learning environments for student employees to gain hands-on experience in the Sports Management, Entertainment Management and Venue Management fields.



Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Oversee ticket sales and operations for all assigned ticketed events while upholding the highest standards of customer service
2. Responsible for the ticketing design and execution of major University events, including Commencement, concerts, Homecoming, and sporting events
3. Develops ticket operation procedures and policies, ensuring compliance with KSU, Paciolan, and client policies
4. Coordinates with event promoters and facilitates event presales, on-sales, promotions, discounts, and special sales; maintains ticket inventory and placement of holds
5. Investigates, troubleshoots, and resolves ticketing-related issues
6. Work closely with Marketing department regarding ticket sales initiatives
7. Improve ticketing operations of department in all sales channels including online buying experience, in-person sales and ticket order fulfillment
8. Assist venue's tenants, the Kennesaw State Owls and Atlanta United 2, with increasing revenue, and cold call programs on an as needed basis
9. Coordinate and produce business reports on ticketing for various areas including business services, promoters, and marketing
10. Maintain accurate records for attendance calculations
11. Oversee Box Office operations at assigned events and maintains high standards of customer service for Box Office staff
12. Assist with overall event environment experience
13. Train, manage, motivate and advise student staff members and game day ticket sales staff



Required Qualifications

Educational Requirements
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher education

Required Experience
Two (2) years of relevant work experience including previous managerial and/or supervisory experience



Preferred Qualifications

Additional Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of ticket selling and box office operations, preferably in higher education and NCAA

Preferred Experience
Experience with Paciolan
Experience leading training staff in sales techniques
Experience with CRM tools



Proposed Salary

The budgeted salary range is $51,600 to $64.500. Offers are based on relevant experience.

Paciolan system knowledge

Proficient with computer applications and programs associated with position (i.e. Microsoft Office suite)
Strong attention to detail and strong organizational and follow up skills
