Brief Statement of Duties
Brief Statement of Duties: This position is responsible for the clinical coordination of the radiography program, providing support to the program director to ensure excellent and effective program operation, and teaching courses in radiography. Additional responsibilities will include: teaching (traditional and online courses), student advisement and recruitment, collaboration with clinical affiliated hospitals, as well as active participation in University service and professional activities. This is a campus based position.
Minimum Qualifications
Required Education: Bachelor's Degree
Discipline / Degree Area: Science, Health or related field
Required Specialized Training/Certifications: American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiography.
Required Minimum Work Experience: Two years of clinical experience in Radiography.
One year experience as an instructor in a JRCERT-accredited program.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, or Attributes Required for Satisfactory Performance of the Position Duties: Experience in course design, outcomes assessment evaluation and academic advising.
Ability to participate in curriculum development for undergraduate education.
Teaching and instruction for individuals and groups, and assessment of outcomes.
Ability to coordinate clinical education.
Ability to work effectively with others in productive ways.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Additional Desirable Qualifications
Additional Desirable Qualifications: Master's degree preferred.
College or University teaching experience.
Previous accreditation experience.
Record of successful collaborative experiences.
Evidence of Professional Development.
