Major/Essential Functions
Will provide PRN services to include assisting LVN, physician, and physician assistant; direct patients to exam rooms; take patient vital signs; other duties as deemed necessary by supervisor.
Occasional DutiesEmployees in this classification are responsible for performing a wide variety of care activities in an assigned specialty or subspecialty outpatient clinic on an as-needed basis. The incumbent is assigned per the direction of the local Director of Nursing Services. Work is performed as part of a total healthcare team in providing complete evaluations to patients.
Required QualificationsDue to the broad nature of work found in this job, the hiring manager will determine the minimum qualifications for a particular job. The qualifications will be commensurate with the level and nature of work to be performed. Have you completed a nursing assistant training course or have at least six months of experience as a nursing assistant? Have you completed a nursing medical assistant or relevant medical training course or have six months of experience in a medical setting providing direct patient care?
