Position Description
Employees in this classification are responsible for performing a wide variety of care activities in an assigned specialty or subspecialty outpatient clinic on an as-needed basis. The incumbent is assigned per the direction of the local Director of Nursing Services. Work is performed as part of a total healthcare team in providing complete evaluations to patients.

Major/Essential Functions

This position will be responsible for providing a wide variety of patient care activities. Duties will include:

  • Providing appropriate nursing care
  • Assisting the Head Nurse with developing clinic goals and objectives
  • Investigating accidents and injuries
  • Supervising and instructing subordinate nursing staff
  • Performing testing ordered by physicians
  • Other duties as requested by supervisor
Required Qualifications
Education: Completion of a recognized program of nursing or an educational program appropriate for the level of care to be provided. License: License or certification consistent with regulatory requirements.

Pay Statement
