Nurse Manager
Job Duties:
Brody School of Medicine's Department of Family Medicine is currently seeking to hire a full-time Nurse Manger for its Firetower medical office. The Nurse Manager ensures the provision of patient care in collaboration with other health professionals in an environment that is respectful of others, accountable for outcomes and adaptive to change. The Nurse Manager is responsible for the planning and comprehensive operations of assigned units of the Family Medicine Firetower medical office.
CLINICAL SUPPORT POSITION - NOT SUBJECT TO STATE HUMAN RESOURCES ACT.
The ECU Brody School of Medicine is affiliated with ECU Health Medical Center. ECU Health Medical Center is the flagship hospital for ECU Health and serves as the teaching hospital for the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University.

Minimum Education/Experience:
Graduation from a state-accredited school of registered nursing and three years of nursing experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Must have a current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina by the North Carolina Board of Nursing. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.

Organizational Unit Overview:
The Department of Family Medicine is one of eleven clinical departments at the Brody School of Medicine. The purpose of the department is to improve the health of the people of eastern North Carolina through leadership in Family Medicine education, research and health care services. The Firetower Medical Office is a clinical practice site that is in the Clinical Services Division of the Family Medicine Department. The mission of our division is to provide quality comprehensive care to families of all ages. Our team approach puts the patient at the center of their own medical care. We work with our staff as well as all members of the patient's care team to ensure the best possible care for the patient. The Firetower Medical office is committed to the continuing education of the Medical Students at the Brody School of Medicine.
