Job Summary:
Working closely with the Indiana Principal Leadership Institute (IPLI) Director, the Program Coordinator supports the development and implementation of a state-wide, two-year intensive professional development program for over 150 Indiana school administrators and 120 teachers. Under limited supervision, this position coordinates a variety of complex activities working with University personnel and external constituencies. Funded by the Indiana State Legislature, the Program Coordinator manages the $600,000 yearly budget, manages overall marketing and communication for IPLI, and coordinates the scheduling and execution of IPLI events on- and off-campus, which require overnight and weekend travel 5 times per year. Additional requirements include lifting heavy boxes, setting up rooms for meetings, driving equipment to seminars, organizing food and materials for seminars/conferences, and working long hours during the on and off-campus events. Collating data, overseeing the production of materials, maintaining a social media presence, and utilizing the ISU protocols for travel, requisitions, etc., are required of this position.
