The Department of Reading at East Stroudsburg University is establishing a temporary faculty teaching pool. Candidates must be able to teach one or more of the following:
  • REED 314: Foundations of Reading for the Developing Child
  • REED 315: Teaching Reading to Students with Disabilities
  • REED 340: Teaching Reading to Middle-Level Students
  • REED 350: Teaching Reading to Diverse Learners (Secondary Level)
The successful candidate will be an active member of the department and will work to develop and mentor students. Applications on-hand will be used to fill vacancies as needed. ESU's Reading Department offers a master's degree, reading specialist certification, and serves several undergraduate programs.

Qualifications
  • Minimum degree of Master's in Reading Education
  • Experience in teaching Reading in the PK-12 setting
  • Experience in teaching online
