Organizational Leadership - Adjunct Faculty
We seek candidates for adjunct faculty positions to teach in Hood College's doctoral program in organizational leadership. The doctoral program is a cohort-based program that offers two degree options: Doctorate in Organizational Leadership (DOL) and Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA).
Candidates must possess an earned doctorate degree in management, organizational leadership or organizational learning and have expertise in quantitative or qualitative research. They must have at least 3 years of experience teaching at the graduate level or have proven experience in adult education. Adjunct faculty in the doctoral program may be required to teach 1 or 2 courses a year and provide guidance for doctoral research as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Teach in person a maximum of two courses per year that could include core leadership courses, research methodology courses, or electives.
- Conduct assessment at the end of the semester.

Education and/or Experience

Proficient in office productivity suite software (such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), internet and email, instructional online platforms such as Blackboard, Blackboard Collaborate and/or Zoom.
