| Job Summary: | This full-time, University Staff (non-classified) position will be responsible for supporting the human resources needs and functions of the Department of Surgery and its 8 divisions including Cardio Thoracic Surgery, GI Trauma and Endocrine Surgery, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Surgical Oncology, Transplant Surgery, Pediatric Surgery, Vascular, and Urology. Under the supervision of the HR Program Manager, the HR and Recruitment Specialist will work closely and collaboratively with the Department of Surgery Employee Relations Program Manager, Director of Operations, School of Medicine Director of Human Resources, and School of Medicine Director of Faculty Affairs. This position will work across the HR sub-groups, dedicating 50% of their time towards the specialist duties, and allocating the other 50% towards recruitment duties; these percentages are subject to change based on workload. | Work Location: | Hybrid – this role is eligible for a hybrid schedule of 2 days per week on campus and as needed for in-person meetings. |

| Anticipated Pay Range: | The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as: Entry Level: $43,511 - $55,346 Intermediate Level: $47,350 - $60,230 Senior Level: $51,190 - $65,113 The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
