The Accountant III is primarily responsible for daily tasks to include preparing and managing budgets, allotments, contractual payments, and financial reporting, both internally and externally. This position is also responsible for expanded financial reporting duties during the fiscal year end process and will be cross trained to serve as a backup for various functions within Accounting Services. The position serves under the general direction of the Associate Controller.
This position may be eligible for Flexible Work Arrangements (FWA) under the East Carolina University (ECU) FWA Policy.
In accordance with the ECU FWA Policy, this position requires you to live within a reasonable commuting distance of ECU.
