Our Kennesaw campus is located at 1000 Chastain Road NW, Kennesaw, GA 30144.
Supervises assigned staff and student assistants to produce first-class events across the University, utilizing in-person and virtual platforms. Responsible for managing projects, including equipment repair, replacement and upgrades, and inventory maintenance. Directly manages and executes large-scale events including commencement, concerts, and other special events.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: -
1. Manages and mentors staff, and Night Owl student assistants to ensure consistent and reliable live streaming production across both campuses and the Sports and Entertainment Park
2. Collaborates with clients and vendors to manage and execute large scale productions
3. Manages broadcast inventory and projects related to repairs, replacements, and upgrades of systems
4. Enters, collects, analyzes, and reports data related to unit activities in event management and other software
5. Diagnoses and resolves complex problems on advanced systems and provides post-mortem analysis for incidents and service interruptions
Educational Requirements
Associate or Technical degree from an accredited institution of higher education or an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience.
Other Required Qualifications
Current, valid and unrestricted driver's license
Required Experience
Four (4) years of broadcast and/or streaming experience required.
Additional Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with Ross Video workflows
DANTE Certification
Membership and participation in professional organizations
Preferred Experience
Management and/or leadership experience preferred

Able to lead, mentor, and train a team of subject matter experts and student staff
Able to function with autonomy, making sound and timely decision as appropriate, and using good judgement to determine which decisions should be escalated
Able to diagnose and resolve complex problems quickly in high pressure, live event situations
Able to handle multiple tasks or projects at one time meeting assigned deadlines
KNOWLEDGE
Knowledge of event AV and broadcast production hardware and software
Knowledge of audio production and lighting concepts
Knowledge of broadcast and av networking; specifically DANTE, ST2110
SKILLS
Excellent interpersonal, initiative, teamwork, problem solving, independent judgment, organization, communication (verbal and written), time management, project management and presentation skills
Proficient with computer applications and programs associated with the position (i.e., Microsoft Office suite)
Strong attention to detail and follow up skills
Strong customer service skills and phone and e-mail etiquette
