Job Description

The Mathematics and Computer Science Department at Providence College invites applicants for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Computer Science, commencing Fall 2024. Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in computer science (or closely related field) from an accredited institution (or earn one by August 1, 2024). All specialties will be considered. The position requires a strong commitment to undergraduate teaching (nine credit hours per semester), the ability to establish a scholarly research program, and a willingness to be active in service to the college and community.

The salary for this position is between $92,000-$97,000.
