Position Description
We are seeking an experienced public health professional to join our small, 5-person team at Mobile Health Map. The Manager of Evaluation will play a crucial role in supporting mobile clinics in their efforts to measure and communicate their impact. The successful candidate will have sole decision making authority, and, with minimal supervision, will independently be responsible for developing and implementing training programs, advising clinics on evaluation and dissemination methods, conducting and/or managing evaluation projects, mentoring students, writing reports, and making presentations. We strongly prefer someone with experience working with mobile clinics and community-based organizations.
Job Specific Responsibilities:
This is a term appointment, with an end date of 9/30/2024, with the possibility of renewal contingent on funding.
This position is based in Boston and some in-person on-campus work will be required, and flexible/remote work is an option. Any remote work must be performed in a state in which Harvard is registered to do business (CA*, CT, GA, IL, MA, MD, ME, NH, NJ, NY, RI, VA, VT, and WA). Individual flexible and remote work options for this role will be discussed during the interview process. *Note: Harvard employees working in California must be exempt.

Position Description

Job Specific Responsibilities:
- Provide expert advice and guidance to mobile clinics to build their capacity to measure, improve, and communicate their impact.
- Build and maintain relationships with mobile clinics and community-based organizations, fostering partnerships and collaboration.
- Conduct and/or manage evaluation projects, ensuring quantitative and qualitative data collection, analysis, and reporting. Write and disseminate clear and concise reports that summarize evaluation findings and provide actionable recommendations for mobile clinics.
- Develop and implement training programs to support mobile clinics in measuring and communicating their impact
- Mentor students and volunteers, providing them with guidance and support in evaluation and public health program development
- Apply to and make presentations at conferences, workshops, and other events to share knowledge and best practices
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required
- Minimum of 3 years' relevant experience
- Master's degree in public health or a related field
- Strong knowledge and understanding of public health evaluation methodologies and best practices.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in public health program development, evaluation, and management.
- Must be a skilled teacher/trainer - able to train the clinics with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to engage with different and diverse audiences at a variety of levels of experience, resources and capabilities.
- Ability to share evaluation results in a variety of ways, (eg: data visualization, charts, narrative, qualitative and quantitative dashboards, heat maps, etc.)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively present complex information to diverse audiences.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Passion for improving access to healthcare and a commitment to promoting equity in health outcomes.
- Experience working with mobile clinics and community-based organizations is strongly preferred.
