Duties & Responsibilities
- Use data analytics to contribute to development of (written) manuscripts, project documentation, and grant applications to research across a diverse range of topics at the intersection of biological applications. Engage study design, data analysis, and figure generation, literature review, and development of text. Text content will be generated according to agreed study and adhering to strict deadlines.
- Engage in research. This will involve methods design, software development, data management, data analysis, and software engineering practices including testing, continuous integration, and release management. These efforts will support both the developer's projects and those of others in the group. Perform statistical and computational analysis on various genomics and protein structure datasets, as needed.
- Develop material for research presentations. This will include both (1) independent development of slides and oral content to be presented by the Scientific Analyst, and (2) collaborating with group members in development of presentations that they will present. Use figure generation to present data analysis in more accessible formats.
- Mentor other group members in development of manuscripts and slide presentations for research content.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent advanced learning attained through professional level experience required.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
