The Office of Student Services is seeking a part-time Student Employment Assistant to support the services and programs related to Boston College's comprehensive on- and off-campus Federal Work-Study Program and student employment program.
Reporting to the Associate Director of Student Employment, the Student Employment Assistant works as part of the Student Employment team and will assist with the day-to-day operations of Student Employment. The specific duties are to:
Serve as the primary point of contact for BC student employees and to the faculty and staff who employ them
Assist with weekly payroll processing and work with the Human Resources Service Center (HRSC) to ensure students are paid in a timely manner
Be responsible for collecting and weekly time entry for Off-Campus Federal Work-Study student employees
Assist students in completing all required student employment forms (University and Federal) Review and process Form I-9 completion for hourly-paid/weekly payroll student employees Understand and maintain awareness of Student Employment policies and procedures
$22.50 to $28.00 per hour, commensurate with experience
