Position Summary

The University of New Mexico, Health Sciences Center,
Department of Internal Medicine, seeks multiple faculty members to join the
Division of Gastroenterology & Hepatology. This position is for an open rank
Clinician Educator General Gastroenterologist, Gastroenterologist specialized
in Inflammatory Bowel Disease and Hepatologist. Salary and rank will be
commensurate with experience and education. 

These positions may be subject to a criminal records screening in
accordance with New Mexico law.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be board certified in Internal Medicine;
• Board certified/board eligible in Gastroenterology by date of hire; and
• Must be eligible to work in US.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience/interest in clinical service;
• Experience/interest in education;
• Experience/interest in research;
• Available to travel to outreach clinics throughout New Mexico;
• A demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and student success, as well as working with broadly diverse communities.
