Position Summary

The Department of Mechanical Engineering seeks qualified individuals for its Adjunct Faculty Pool and welcomes applicants at any time. The Mechanical Engineering Department offers programs leading to BS and MS degrees and participates in the College of Engineering's Ph.D. degree program.

Duties and Responsibilities

Teaching undergraduate and graduate level courses. Duties will vary with the specific courses being taught.

Minimum Qualifications

An earned doctorate in Mechanical Engineering or a closely allied discipline is strongly preferred; master's degree required. The applicant must be committed to excellence in engineering education.

Salary Posting Information

This adjunct position falls within the salary range of $1,650.00 - $2,600.00 per credit/contact hour. The final compensation will be determined with consideration of several factors including the selected candidate's educational qualifications, course type (drill, lab, lecture), course level (undergraduate or graduate), and market benchmarks.
